Return and Refund Policy for 3D Printers and Accessories

3D printers and their accessories vary by model and adhere to both the manufacturer’s return policy and this policy. Please check the specific return policy for each printer model. No returns will be accepted for any 3D printers, kits, or accessories that have been opened. Only new, unopened items may be eligible for return within 30 days of purchase.  Returns for non-defective printers and accessories are subject to a 15% restocking fee. 

All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Items eligible for return must be in the same condition as purchased, with all parts and accessories intact. Some manufacturers require original packaging for repairs, so we recommend keeping the original packaging for the entire warranty period. Fees may be charged for replacement packaging if needed.

Items found to be broken or malfunctioning due to misuse or neglect will not be accepted for return.

Return Process:

  1. Contact support at returns@3dprintersdirect.com to obtain a Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before returning an item.
  2. Items for exchange must be received by 3D Printers Direct before a replacement is sent. If you need a replacement sooner, you may purchase a new item, and a refund will be issued once the returned item is received.

Note: Do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Unauthorized Returns: Any return made without an RMA number will be considered an unauthorized return and will not be eligible for a refund or credit.

Refunds: Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment within 14 days of refund approval. If the original form of payment is not possible, refunds will be issued as store credit.

Orders canceled by the customer after shipping can be returned for a refund minus any applicable shipping charges. In the case of a lost package, we will assist, but the carrier company holds ultimate responsibility.

International Orders: 3D Printers Direct is not responsible for any customs, duties, taxes, or import fees. If a customer abandons their shipment instead of paying these fees, no refund will be given.

Clearance Items: All sales of 'Clearance Items' are final and not covered by the 14-day return policy. Refurbished 3D printers and machines have at least a 6-month warranty.

Change of Mind Refunds: If a customer cancels an order due to a "Change of Mind," a 4% transaction fee will be deducted from the refund to cover payment processing costs. This policy applies to orders canceled before or after shipping. No refunds are offered for pre-order and final sale items due to "Change of Mind." If you change your mind about a pre-order item, you may refuse the item upon delivery and follow the refund policy.

Shipping Returns/Exchanges: We replace items only if they are defective or damaged. For exchanges, contact returns@3dprintersdirect.com. Do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

For returns and exchanges, contact returns@3dprintersdirect.com for the correct shipping address. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, which are non-refundable. The cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Shipping times for exchanged products may vary based on location.

For shipping returns, consider using a trackable service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee receipt of returned items.
